French perfume brand Adopt has officially launched in Morocco, opening its first three stores in Casablanca this month. The stores give customers the chance to explore a wide range of perfumes and other products in a modern, easygoing way.
The new stores opened at Sila Park Almaz on 11 March, Tachfine Center on 12 March, and Marina Shopping Center on 13 March. Customers can try over 100 different perfumes, including floral, woody, fresh, and sensual scents. The stores also sell body and skincare products, scented candles, and home diffusers.

Adopt has been growing fast internationally. In France, it saw a 45% increase in new customers in 2024 and a 140% rise in online and in-store sales compared with 2023. The brand sells a perfume every five seconds worldwide and sold over 23 million bottles in France last year.
Founded in 1986 by Dominique Monlun, Adopt works with expert perfumers in Grasse, France. Its perfumes use high-quality ingredients from top fragrance companies like Givaudan, Robertet, and Symrise—the same ones behind Chanel and Dior perfumes.
Adopt introduced the idea of a “fragrance wardrobe”, where people buy several small 30ml bottles instead of one big bottle. This lets customers switch perfumes depending on their mood, the time of day, or their outfit. This approach is popular with Gen Z and Millennials.
The company makes all its perfumes in-house at a facility in Château Renard, south of Paris. By controlling production, it keeps prices affordable while focusing on the quality of the scents rather than marketing or fancy packaging.
The brand is also environmentally friendly. It has cut emissions by 30% and water use by 60%, switched to natural beetroot alcohol from France, and uses recyclable packaging. Some fragrances, like Monoï des îles, include upcycled ingredients such as clove leaves and paper waste. Most formulas are vegan and free of artificial colors.
Morocco is part of Adopt’s plan to expand in the Middle East and Africa. The Casablanca stores are in busy shopping centers to make it easy for people to try and buy perfumes.
The stores also feature higher-strength Intense perfumes, organic skincare with fair-trade ingredients like Moroccan argan oil, and home fragrances that match the perfumes.
