From November 26 to 29, 2025, Casablanca will host three major international trade events focused on electricity, electronics, and the energy transition. Elec Expo, EneR Event, and Tronica Expo are set to bring together industry leaders, experts, startups, and institutions for a four-day exchange on the latest innovations and pressing challenges in the sector.
Organized under the leadership of the National Federation of Electricity, Electronics and Renewable Energies (FENELEC), this year’s edition cements Morocco’s role as a strategic hub for sustainable energy in Africa. Casablanca, situated at the heart of this evolving ecosystem, is positioning itself as a regional platform for innovation, partnership, and forward-thinking solutions in the energy space.
The central theme of the 2025 edition—“Energy Storage and Smart Equipment: The Key to Tomorrow’s Power Grids”—highlights the critical role of intelligent technologies and storage systems in modernizing energy infrastructure. As the global shift toward renewables accelerates, the integration of smart grid solutions and high-efficiency equipment is becoming essential to building resilient and adaptive energy networks.
Held at the Casablanca International Exhibition Center (OFEC), just opposite the Hassan II Mosque, the expos will take place with support from the Moroccan Ministries of Industry, Energy Transition, and Higher Education. The Czech Republic will be honored as this year’s featured guest nation, underlining growing international cooperation in the energy sector.
The event’s program will feature a dynamic mix of activities, including high-level conferences, B2B matchmaking sessions, live tech demonstrations, and thematic panels. Over 200 exhibitors from 23 countries are expected to showcase their latest innovations in smart grids, e-mobility, digital energy solutions, and efficiency technologies. The expos aim to draw nearly 10,000 professionals, offering a unique space for networking and cross-border collaboration.
This initiative aligns closely with Morocco’s New Development Model and its national industrial strategy, inspired by the vision of King Mohammed VI, who has positioned the Kingdom as a driving force behind Africa’s energy transition. Morocco is increasingly seen as a bridge between Europe and Africa—both in policy and technology.
With these three trade fairs, FENELEC reinforces its commitment to promoting a sustainable, innovation-driven energy future. The 2025 edition is poised to serve as a showcase of Moroccan expertise and a key meeting point for shaping the smart energy networks of tomorrow.
