On November 12, 2024, SRM confirmed the conclusion of negotiations for the acquisition of Groupe Premium S.A. after UNATRAC Holding Limited (UHL) decided to terminate the agreement initially announced on July 18, 2024. The strategic deal, signed on July 12, 2024, would have involved UHL acquiring 51% of Groupe Premium’s shares and voting rights. Groupe Premium holds a 78.12% majority stake in SRM.
The deal was poised to reshape SRM’s corporate structure and boost its growth potential. However, UHL’s decision to withdraw from the transaction brought the discussions to an end. Despite the setback, both UHL and the sellers—Amethis Fund II SICAR S.C.A., Richard Robelin, Éric Lefort, and Loïc Lefort—reached an amicable resolution.
To ensure a smooth conclusion, the involved parties signed a confidential settlement agreement. This agreement underscores their mutual commitment to maintaining professional and positive relations despite the termination of this ambitious strategic initiative.
The decision to part ways marks the end of a significant chapter for SRM, as the company now refocuses its efforts on future opportunities and growth strategies.
