Taager, a fast-growing Egyptian startup launched in 2019, has officially expanded into Morocco, setting up operations in Casablanca as it continues its regional growth across the Middle East and North Africa. After establishing a presence in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, the company is now targeting Morocco’s rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape, aiming to empower a new generation of digital entrepreneurs.
At the heart of Taager’s model is a simple yet powerful promise: anyone can start selling online without the burden of managing inventory or making upfront investments. The platform handles the entire sales process—from product sourcing and logistics to payments and delivery—offering a seamless, end-to-end solution. This turnkey approach has already attracted over 65,000 sellers, including students, digital marketers, and social media influencers who are tapping into online commerce with little risk and minimal barriers.
As Taager enters the Moroccan market, the company is betting on a country with a young, tech-savvy population and a digital ecosystem that’s gaining serious momentum. “Morocco brings together a connected youth and a vibrant digital environment,” said Abdelrahman Sherief, one of the company’s co-founders. His vision is to remove the usual obstacles that keep people from launching online businesses and to make digital entrepreneurship accessible to all.
The local arm of the company will be led by Salma Ammor, an experienced figure in digital business launches. She takes the helm with a clear mission: to give Moroccan youth a reliable platform to kick-start and grow their own ventures. In line with this strategy, Taager is actively recruiting for several key roles, particularly in media buying, customer support, and telesales, to build a solid foundation for its Moroccan operations.
With its arrival in Casablanca, Taager isn’t just entering a new market—it’s offering a launchpad for thousands of aspiring sellers to step into the world of e-commerce without the traditional hurdles.
