In El Jadida, October nights are about to come alive to the rhythm of hooves. The 16th edition of the Horse Show, set to run from September 30 to October 5, 2025, promises a captivating blend of artistry, tradition, and equestrian mastery. This year’s theme, “Melodies of Hooves,” sets the tone for a series of unforgettable performances, bringing together talent from Morocco and beyond.

For the first time ever, the prestigious Szilvásvárad Stud Farm will set foot on African soil. Hailing from Hungary, this renowned troupe is celebrated for its exquisite skill in harnessing and classical dressage with Lusitano horses. Their performance will blend precision and grace in a choreographed display that’s both technical and poetic.

Among the highlights is the emotional journey offered by Christophe and Max Hasta Luego, a father-son duo who merge trust and acrobatics in a performance where liberty and aerial stunts collide. Their act promises to stir the audience with moments of raw connection and daring athleticism. Also taking center stage are Kevin Ferreira and Jérôme Sefer, who will present a powerful, synchronized choreography featuring their Comtois horses, known for their strength and elegance.

Another standout act comes from Bartolo Messina, whose almost telepathic rapport with his horses has made him a legend in equestrian circles. He’ll be joined by his nephew, Sasa Improta, an emerging talent already making waves on the international scene. Together, they’ll offer a performance steeped in harmony and mutual understanding between rider and horse.

Morocco’s own institutions will also be in the spotlight. The SOREC Academy of Equestrian Arts will debut three original productions under the collective title “Equestrian Lights,” blending tradition with contemporary showmanship. The Royal Gendarmerie will present a carousel display known for its military precision, while the National Security Directorate is set to deliver a meticulously crafted and visually striking performance of its own.

In a first for the event, this edition will feature not one, but three evening shows—an innovation aimed at meeting the growing enthusiasm of audiences who return year after year to celebrate this grand tribute to the horse.
