Emirates launches hiring drive for technicians in Casablanca

Emirates will be making a stop in Casablanca on December 8 and 9 as part of a global hiring campaign aimed at strengthening its engineering workforce in Dubai. The airline is actively recruiting aeronautical technicians to support its operations, reflecting its need for skilled professionals to maintain and grow the world’s largest wide-body aircraft fleet.

With more than 17,000 positions available across 350 technical disciplines, Emirates is targeting top-tier talent capable of upholding its rigorous maintenance standards. Casablanca has been selected as a key stop on this international recruitment drive, thanks to its strong reputation as a regional hub for aerospace expertise.

Morocco—especially its economic capital—has become a magnet for qualified professionals trained in engineering schools and specialized institutes. The country’s booming aerospace sector is backed by an ambitious industrial vision championed by King Mohammed VI. Over the years, Morocco has carved out a solid position in this demanding and high-tech industry.

During the two-day recruitment event, Emirates will present potential candidates with a range of career opportunities within its engineering division. Successful applicants will join a high-performance, innovation-driven environment and enjoy a host of benefits, including a tax-free salary, discounted airfare, comprehensive medical coverage, and long-term career growth within the Emirates Group.

Abdulla Adnan, Emirates’ Country Manager for Morocco, emphasized the dynamic working conditions the airline offers to technicians. He also spotlighted the upcoming $950 million engineering complex at Dubai World Central, currently under development. The first phase of this vast one-million-square-meter facility is set for completion in 2027 and will centralize all aspects of aircraft maintenance—from heavy overhauls and custom paint jobs to full aircraft conversions.

By joining Emirates, Moroccan technicians will have the chance to participate in a large-scale industrial project with global impact, all while working in a forward-thinking, multicultural setting. The company also promotes the benefits of living in Dubai, where employees enjoy exclusive perks through the Emirates Platinum Card, granting access to a wide network of global partners.
