Former World Bank VP Ferid Belhaj joins ‘Policy Center for the New South’

The Policy Center for the New South, led by Karim El Aynaoui and recognized as one of the most influential think tanks in Africa and the Global South, continues to attract top-tier experts. The recent addition of Ferid Belhaj, former Vice President of the World Bank for the Middle East and North Africa, further bolsters the center’s high-caliber team.

Belhaj joins a distinguished group of experts who have held key positions in public policy, macroeconomic management, international organizations, and academic research across multiple countries. The center’s team now consists of around 40 globally renowned experts from nearly 20 nationalities, specializing in economic and geopolitical research.
