Getlink Customs Services has signed a partnership with Spanish logistics operator Agsa-Partida to streamline customs procedures for goods moving between Morocco and the UK via Spain and France.
The agreement aims to simplify administrative processes and improve coordination for companies operating along the route, particularly as businesses continue to adapt to post-Brexit customs requirements.
The deal brings together Getlink’s experience in managing customs formalities between continental Europe and the UK with Agsa-Partida’s operational presence at major Spanish border points and logistics hubs.
The companies say the partnership will offer a single, coordinated service covering customs requirements, logistics operations and regulatory compliance across the entire transport corridor.
Trade between Morocco and the UK has grown steadily since a bilateral partnership agreement came into force in 2021, with annual volumes reaching several billion dollars in recent years.
Under the arrangement, export procedures and port logistics in Morocco will be handled through PartidaMed. In Spain, Agsa-Partida will oversee operations at key gateways including Algeciras, Valencia, Barcelona and Motril, while Getlink Customs Services will manage import and export formalities in the UK.
