In Casablanca’s fast-evolving Ain Sebaâ district, LabelVie Group has taken another bold step in its nationwide expansion with the launch of a new Carrefour hypermarket. Strategically located in one of the city’s key industrial and residential hubs, the store reinforces the company’s footprint in Morocco’s economic capital and aligns with a broader urban renewal dynamic underway in the area.

Following the recent transformation of its Sidi Maarouf outlet and the opening of Carrefour Almaz at Sela Park, this latest launch marks yet another move in LabelVie’s aggressive push to dominate the large-format retail segment in Casablanca. The project stands on a plot exceeding 15,000 square meters, with a total built area of 41,000 square meters. Backed by a 300 million dirham investment, the construction took two years to complete, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to serving the growing urban population and supporting the rise of structured, modern commerce in the city.

The new hypermarket is part of the company’s broader “Vision 2028” strategy, an ambitious development plan aimed at expanding its national presence through innovative store formats and a targeted focus on high-consumption zones. The 5,400-square-meter sales floor has been designed with a seamless customer experience in mind, emphasizing freshness and variety across its offerings. Daily restocked produce sections, temperature-controlled meat and seafood counters, and an on-site artisanal bakery all contribute to a shopping experience focused on quality and convenience.

Beyond food, the store features an extensive non-food range that includes home appliances, electronics, home decor, clothing, and everyday essentials. To improve accessibility, a 347-space underground parking garage has been built for shoppers.

On the employment front, the opening of this location has created 198 direct jobs and another 150 indirect positions, highlighting LabelVie’s role as not only a retail leader but also a significant contributor to local economic development.

With this latest addition to its network, Carrefour LabelVie further solidifies its status as a key player in Morocco’s retail sector, continuing to shape the future of accessible, modern, and community-focused shopping.
