Investor demand tops supply in Crédit du Maroc’s 699 million-dirham share sale

Crédit du Maroc has completed a 699.1 million-dirham capital increase after investor demand exceeded the number of shares on offer.

The bank issued 745,285 new shares at 938 dirhams each. Investors applied for 943,061 shares, worth a total of 884.6 million dirhams, giving the offer a subscription rate of 127%.

Existing shareholders and holders of preferential subscription rights took up 95.3% of the offer through their rights.

The capital increase was open from 26 June to 16 July 2026 and was reserved for existing shareholders and holders of preferential subscription rights.

Following the transaction, Crédit du Maroc’s share capital has increased to 1.16 billion dirhams.

The bank also updated its articles of association under the mandate approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting on 27 April 2026.
