A Japanese travel company that designs custom-made trips has named Morocco as one of its top five places to visit in spring 2026. The other countries on the list are Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and Finland.

The company, Oooh, said it chose these destinations based on two main things: good weather in spring and the kind of experience travellers can have at that time of year. It said spring is a great season to visit places that offer mild temperatures and a mix of culture and nature.

For Morocco, the company said spring is one of the best times to go because the weather is not too hot or too cold. This makes it easier for visitors to explore different parts of the country, from historic cities to natural landscapes, without worrying about extreme heat.

It pointed to the country’s variety — old medinas, desert areas and mountain views — saying travellers can enjoy very different experiences in one trip. Suggested plans include visiting Marrakech and Fez, staying in the desert, riding camels and camping under the stars.

Costa Rica made the list because spring falls in its dry season, which is good for exploring rainforests and wildlife. Sri Lanka was chosen for its steady weather, making it easier to visit cultural and natural sites. Tunisia was recommended for its Roman and Islamic heritage and desert trips in comfortable spring temperatures. Finland was included for travellers who want a last chance to see the northern lights and enjoy some winter activities before spring fully sets in.

Oooh said it focuses on building personalised trips rather than selling standard packages. It connects travellers directly with local travel agencies in more than 100 countries. The company also offers support in Japanese and uses instant translation tools to make communication easier before and during the trip.
