In a strategic move to expand the global presence of Moroccan brands, the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services joined forces with the Moroccan Franchise Federation to spearhead a promotional campaign in the United States. Their mission was clear: unlock new market opportunities for Moroccan products across the American landscape.

This initiative is part of a broader national agenda aimed at boosting the export of Moroccan brands and enhancing the global recognition of the Made in Morocco label. The delegation’s itinerary included two key industry events. The first stop was in Miami on May 9 and 10 for the IFA Franchise World Show, followed by the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Maryland from May 11 to 14.

At these high-profile gatherings, Moroccan representatives showcased an impressive lineup of a dozen franchises poised for international expansion, along with around one hundred products that spanned a diverse range of industries including food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. The goal extended beyond simply promoting products; it was also about forging new business relationships and encouraging foreign direct investment into Morocco.

In Miami, the delegation engaged in a series of productive discussions, notably with the executive director of Miami-Dade County and local Chamber of Commerce officials. Moroccan entrepreneurs based in Florida also took part in a working session to explore avenues for collaboration and growth.

The Moroccan pavilion attracted significant attention throughout the events, according to organizers. A steady flow of visitors helped to elevate the profile of Moroccan brands, demonstrating both strong interest and confidence in Moroccan products among U.S. business leaders and the Moroccan diaspora.

Talks also progressed with several American investors eager to explore commercial partnerships or to consider launching ventures in Morocco, signaling a growing appetite for cross-border cooperation.
