At the All Africa Challenge Trophy (AACT), the Moroccan women’s team secured a historic victory with a collective score of -7, ending South Africa’s long-standing dominance. A standout moment came from 15-year-old Sofia Cherif Essakali, who clinched the individual title with a remarkable -12, solidifying her place as one of Morocco’s brightest golfing talents.
The Arab Championships further highlighted Morocco’s dominance. The amateur team triumphed with a collective score of -36, while the senior team extended their supremacy in the competition. Individually, Adam Bresnu stole the spotlight, winning the 2024 Arab Championship before excelling at the Qatar International Series. Meanwhile, Hugo Mazen Trometter impressed at the King Hamad Trophy, narrowly missing out on first place after a gripping playoff to finish second.
