Morocco shines at SIAL 2024 with over 80 companies showcasing excellence

Morocco is making a strong impression at the 60th edition of the Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL), one of the world’s premier agri-food exhibitions, which kicked off on Saturday at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center.

With a delegation of over 80 exporting companies, Morocco is proudly showcasing the rich diversity of its agri-food and seafood sectors. The country’s presence at this prestigious event highlights its growing reputation as a key player in the global food industry, particularly in Europe.

During the event, Samira Sitail, the Moroccan Ambassador to France, visited the Moroccan pavilion, which has been attracting a large number of visitors. Her visit underlined the importance of this international platform for promoting Moroccan products.

The Moroccan pavilion, covering an impressive 1,102 square meters across two halls of the exhibition, offers a platform to promote local production potential and forge new connections with international importers. Visitors are treated to a vast array of Moroccan delicacies, reflecting the diversity and dynamism of the country’s agri-food industry. Products range from olive oil, couscous, and tea to seafood preserves, sweets, and biscuits, illustrating the breadth of Morocco’s culinary heritage.

The 2024 edition of SIAL, held under the theme “Own the Change,” will run until October 23. With 7,500 exhibitors from 130 countries and an expected attendance of over 285,000 visitors, the event provides an unparalleled opportunity for Moroccan producers to expand their reach and secure new business partnerships on the global stage
