As excitement builds for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, Morocco’s national railway operator is rolling out a major transportation plan to help fans move between host cities smoothly and safely. As an official sponsor of the tournament, the ONCF is stepping up its efforts to ensure that traveling to the games is not just convenient, but also comfortable and reliable.

With a surge in passenger traffic expected throughout the championship, the ONCF has developed a tailored transit system designed to meet the needs of football fans. This includes additional trains, dedicated shuttle services, and flexible schedules aligned with match times to better handle the crowds.

In Rabat, special arrangements will be made to bring fans closer to the action. Select trains coming from the southern regions will make a special stop at Rabat Riad station, which sits just steps from Moulay Abdellah Stadium. To further streamline movement within the city, a dedicated rail link between Rabat Agdal and Rabat Riad stations will be launched, allowing quick connections to the wider national network.

Travelers are encouraged to check the dedicated schedules available online to plan their journeys efficiently. To spread awareness and help passengers navigate the changes, the ONCF will also roll out an information campaign across all relevant stations.

From December 15, 2025, through January 31, 2026, a special digital pass priced at 50 dirhams will be available. This pass grants a 30% discount on all train travel—both first and second class—with no limits on the number of trips taken.

To manage crowds on match days, a large-scale support system will be in place at stations. Clearly marked paths and signage will guide travelers, while ONCF staff—joined by volunteers and interns—will be on hand to assist with directions, platform access, and boarding procedures.

A central operations hub will be monitoring train traffic around the clock, ready to respond to any disruptions and ensure service remains consistent.

The ONCF is urging fans to follow safety guidelines and cooperate with staff to keep things running smoothly before and after matches. The goal is to create a secure, well-organized travel experience that matches the spirit and energy of the tournament itself.
