National Airports Authority reshapes leadership to drive "Airports 2030" vision

The National Airports Authority is revamping the structure of its key departments as part of its ambitious “Airports 2030” strategy, aiming to boost overall performance while equipping its teams for future challenges.

Two of the Authority’s core divisions—one overseeing air navigation and the other managing airport operations—are entering a new phase of transformation. A call for candidates has been issued to find new directors to lead these areas. In the meantime, interim managers have been appointed to ensure seamless operations during this transition period. The current leaders of these divisions, both seasoned veterans of the organization, will now shift their focus toward driving development projects in close coordination with the top leadership.

This restructuring follows recent changes in the commercial division, which recently welcomed a new director. The updated vision for this arm of the organization emphasizes improving financial performance, forging strategic partnerships, and reimagining airports as dynamic service hubs—spaces designed not just for transit, but as destinations in their own right.
