OCP launches new subsidiary to streamline support services

OCP is moving forward with a major step in its internal overhaul. The Moroccan government has officially approved the creation of OCP Global Business Services S.A., a new subsidiary that will be fully owned by the group. The green light came through a government decree published on August 12, 2025, following OCP’s acquisition of PwC Business Services Morocco.

The new company will serve as a centralized hub for several key support functions, including finance, human resources, and information systems. By consolidating these operations under one roof, the group aims to improve coordination and streamline service delivery. The initiative also seeks to modernize these departments, making them more agile and better equipped to meet the evolving demands of the business.

This move is part of a broader internal transformation agenda. Authorities have emphasized the importance of stronger corporate governance and improved performance across the organization. The broader goal is to make support services more efficient while pushing forward with the digitalization of tools and internal processes.

The project stems from a dual recommendation issued by Morocco’s National Agency for the Strategic Evaluation of Public Institutions and the Finance Commission, both of which highlighted the need for structural reform within large public-sector entities.
