Retail Holding is stepping beyond supermarkets and shops. It has bought OCS, a company that cooks meals for workers, cleans buildings and helps run sites for businesses across Morocco.

The deal brings Retail Holding into three new areas. These are staff catering, facility services and childcare. All of them rely on long-term contracts and regular income rather than one-off sales.

OCS is already a major player in workplace catering. It prepares food in large quantities and serves it directly at client sites. In 2025, it delivered nearly 208,000 meals across 247 locations nationwide. Its work comes with strict rules on hygiene, nutrition and logistics.

Its clients range from factories and offices to schools and telecom firms. The business runs on recurring contracts and adapts to each site’s needs.

Retail Holding adds through OCS a steady income and opens the door to new business clients. It also allows the group to share costs and operations across purchasing, supply chains and sales.

The acquisition was done with investment fund Amethis. Together, they bought out Adenia Partners and Proparco, which had been the majority shareholders since 2021.

The deal also takes Retail Holding beyond Morocco. OCS operates in Senegal, giving the group a first step into West Africa.

At the time of the takeover, OCS had crossed 1 billion dirhams in annual revenue and employed around 6,000 people. Its catering business runs under Ansamble and Proxirest. Its facility services operate under Artis in Morocco and Alizés in Senegal.

Demand for these services is growing fast. More factories, private clinics and universities are opening. Many are choosing to outsource everyday operations like food, cleaning and maintenance.

This move is part of a bigger shake-up. In May 2026, Retail Holding and its listed arm LabelVie announced a mega-merger. The combined group will be listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange and will bring retail, franchises and services under one roof with a plan to reach 47 billion dirhams in revenue by 2030.
