PwC Maghreb welcomes Ophélie Prieur as new strategy and management partner

PwC Maghreb, with its regional headquarters in Casablanca, has announced the appointment of Ophélie Prieur as a new partner in Morocco, effective July 1. She will lead the strategy and management consulting activities, with a focus on Workforce initiatives and financial services transformation in the region.

A proven leader in strategy and management

Ophélie Prieur brings a wealth of experience to her new role. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris in public affairs, she began her career at Capgemini, working on state transformation and modernization projects. She later joined Stanwell, where she specialized in operational strategy for financial services clients.

After spending several years in New York, Prieur joined PwC Morocco in 2014. Since then, she has significantly contributed to the development of the banking and insurance sectors. Her expertise in strategic transformations and managing the human impact of these changes—focusing on adoption, engagement, culture, and skill development—has been instrumental for international clients in the Maghreb and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Leading workforce and financial transformation

As a partner at PwC France and Maghreb, Prieur will oversee Workforce activities and lead financial services transformation initiatives in the Maghreb region. Her role will involve driving strategic transformations and managing the human dimensions of these changes, ensuring that clients successfully navigate the complexities of adopting new strategies and enhancing their organizational cultures.

Commitment to growth and excellence

In her new position, Ophélie Prieur will be pivotal in strengthening PwC Maghreb’s consulting capabilities. Her leadership will be crucial in advancing the firm’s mission to provide top-tier strategic and management consulting services across the region.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ophélie Prieur as a partner,” said a PwC spokesperson. “Her extensive experience and proven track record in strategic transformation and financial services will be invaluable as we continue to grow and serve our clients with excellence.”
