Two Moroccan investment groups have notified the Competition Council of plans to jointly acquire control of three companies operating in catering and facility management services.

Retail Holding SA and Amethis Fund II S.C.A., SICAV-RAIF said they intend to take joint control of Ansamble Maroc SA, Amman & Co SA and Wind Holding SAS, according to a filing submitted to the Conseil de la Concurrence.

The proposed deal forms part of a wider consolidation move in Morocco’s facility management sector announced in recent days.

Retail Holding SA, based in Morocco, focuses on acquiring and managing stakes, mainly in the retail sector. Amethis Fund II S.C.A., SICAV-RAIF, incorporated in Luxembourg as a partnership limited by shares, also invests in and manages shareholdings.

The three target companies operate in business services and catering.

Ansamble Maroc SA provides collective catering services and related activities. Amman & Co SA specialises in facility management services. Wind Holding SAS, a Senegalese company, focuses on holding and managing shareholdings.

The transaction remains subject to review by the Competition Council.
