Vivo Energy Maroc plans to reach more than 400,000 children and young people through its education programmes during the 2026-2027 school year. That is almost twice the number reached during the previous school year, when about 230,000 young people benefited from the programmes.
The company will focus on early education, environmental awareness, culture, entrepreneurship and vocational training.
“Each stage of a child’s or young person’s journey requires adapted solutions. Our ambition is to contribute, at our level, to creating conditions that enable new generations to learn, flourish, and build their future,” said Hind Mejjati Alami, communications and CSR director at Vivo Energy Maroc.
Vivo Energy Maroc will continue its work with pre-school children. T-Bot educational tools are already being used in 300 classrooms, reaching nearly 5,000 children. The company has also added library areas and installed solar panels in 34 classrooms without access to the electricity grid.
Its Mama Tabiaa environmental programme will expand to all 12 regions. New activities will also be adapted for pre-school children.
The company will continue supporting École du Jeune Spectateur, which gives children and teenagers access to theatre, music, storytelling and other performances.
Youth entrepreneurship is another focus. Vivo Energy employees mentor students as they develop business ideas. Two projects from regional competitions will move on to the national competition in September.
The company is also continuing its support for the École de la Deuxième Chance – Nouvelle Génération in Ben M’sick.
The current programme includes PowerUp, a certified course covering lubricants and mechanical trades. OFPPT is delivering the training with Vivo Energy Maroc.
Vivo Energy Maroc has also partnered with ESSEC Business School’s Chaire Afrique. The programme combines academic training, practical experience and work with companies to prepare young people for leadership roles.
Vivo Energy Maroc operates more than 400 Shell-branded service stations across the country. Its network serves more than 150,000 customers a day.
The company also operates fuel storage facilities with a combined capacity of more than 300,000 cubic metres in Mohammedia, Jorf Lasfar, Agadir and Laâyoune.
