Société Sonasid said its revenue rose 16% in 2025, helped by stronger momentum in the domestic market and expects to benefit from planned growth.

The steel producer reported consolidated revenue of 6.39bn dirhams for the year, compared with 2024. In the fourth quarter, revenue increased 10% to 1.85bn dirhams.

On a standalone basis, annual revenue reached 6.22bn dirhams, also up 16% year on year.

Investment spending rose during the year. Consolidated capital expenditure totalled 277m dirhams in 2025, up 40%. The company said the spending is part of its “Act for Impact” strategy, aimed at increasing production capacity and improving competitiveness.

Over the 2021–2025 period, cumulative investment reached 928m dirhams.

By the end of December, consolidated net cash stood at 400m dirhams, down from 722m dirhams a year earlier. Sonasid said the fall was mainly due to higher working capital needs as sales picked up, along with continued investment.

Société Sonasid said it expects to benefit from planned growth in Morocco’s construction sector and will continue to focus on competitiveness and higher value products.
