The Ministry of Health and Social Protection is taking a major step forward in enhancing emergency medical services. A newly launched international tender aims to acquire 70 state-of-the-art Type A ambulances, designed to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients. The total investment for this initiative amounts to 47.6 million dirhams.
These ambulances go far beyond standard emergency vehicles. Built to meet international medical transport standards, they will be fully equipped with advanced medical units to provide high-quality care during transit.
Among their key features, the ambulances will have an antibacterial interior to minimize the risk of infections. The walls and furnishings will be made from antibacterial ABS, a material known for its durability and resistance to impact. Additionally, the flooring will be coated with epoxy resin, ensuring superior hygiene and long-term wear resistance.
This project is part of Morocco’s broader strategy to modernize its healthcare infrastructure. By strengthening emergency response capabilities, the government aims to improve the quality of medical care, particularly in remote areas where patient transport remains a significant challenge.
With this new fleet of high-tech ambulances, Morocco is reinforcing its commitment to providing equitable and efficient healthcare access, placing the well-being of its citizens at the forefront of its priorities.
