Vivo Energy Maroc has just launched a brand-new dining concept called “La Pause,” now available at select Shell service stations. This initiative marks a significant shift in the fuel company’s strategy, signaling a broader move toward diversifying its offerings and redefining the roadside experience for travelers across Morocco.
Designed as a round-the-clock, accessible space, “La Pause” delivers a fast-casual dining option rooted in Moroccan culinary tradition, but adapted for people on the go. From day one, the first locations were rolled out at strategically placed service stations, especially along major highways, with plans for a nationwide expansion in the coming years.
The concept was developed internally by Vivo Energy Maroc in close collaboration with chef Meryem Tahiri, known for her contemporary take on Moroccan cuisine. She curated a menu that strikes a balance between authenticity and innovation, aimed at satisfying a wide range of travelers. Each dish is crafted from fresh ingredients, with a strong focus on quality and food safety.
Beyond the food, “La Pause” is designed as a genuine break from the road. The environment is warm and welcoming, service is available 24/7, and the menu evolves with the seasons. Everything—from the interior design to the convenience of the setup—is intended to create a comfortable, practical stopover. With this launch, Vivo Energy Maroc aims to transform its service stations into more than just fueling points, envisioning them as full-fledged lifestyle spaces that cater to modern travelers’ needs.
