Wafa IMA Assistance has been awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility label by General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), a mark that shows companies are running their business in a responsible and ethical way.

The CGEM label is one of Morocco’s main standards for judging how firms treat people, manage the environment and run their operations. It looks at things like honesty in leadership, care for staff, and how companies balance profit with sustainability.

For Wafa IMA Assistance, this is not just a badge. The company says it reflects how it now runs its day to day work, with more focus on responsible management and better internal organisation across teams.

Founded in 2011, the company was created through a partnership between Attijariwafa Bank, Wafa Assurance and France’s Inter Mutuelles Assistance.

It provides 24 hour assistance services in Morocco and abroad. These include medical help such as patient transfers and home doctor visits, roadside support for cars, travel help with issues like lost luggage or delays, and services to help Moroccans living overseas with repatriation and administrative support.

The company has also been expanding into digital services. In 2026 it launched Sérélia, a service for elderly people using a connected watch that can detect falls and send emergency alerts, allowing users to stay at home while still being monitored.

It has also been named “Customer Service of the Year Morocco” for 2026 for the third year running. The company says it now supports more than three million people worldwide, with a large network of service providers and hospitals across different countries.
