Morocco’s RS Berkane welcome Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman on Saturday in the first leg of their CAF Champions League quarter-final.

The match will kick off at 22:00 GMT at the Stade Municipal de Berkane, where Berkane have often been difficult to beat in African competitions. Fans can catch the action live on BeIN Sports MENA.

Berkane reached the last eight after finishing second in Group A behind Egypt’s Pyramids FC. Al Hilal, meanwhile, surprised many teams by finishing top of Group C ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.

The Moroccan side will be without injured goalkeeper Munir Mohand Mohamedi. Veteran keeper Anas Zniti is expected to replace him in goal.

Al Hilal will miss midfielder Salaheldin Adil, who is suspended for the first leg. The rest of the squad is available and the team is expected to rely on the solid defence that helped them finish top of their group.

Berkane’s coaching staff have said the team must stay fully focused and try to win the first match without conceding a goal.

Al Hilal’s camp says the pressure is on the home side. They believe that even a draw, or a small defeat with an away goal, would be a good result before the second leg in Sudan.
