Royal Air Maroc is ramping up its international presence with the addition of four new direct routes from Casablanca, set to launch in the fall of 2025. Starting in September, the airline will begin service to Munich, Zurich, N’Djamena, and the island of Sal in Cape Verde, reinforcing its role as a vital connector between Europe and Africa.

Zurich and N’Djamena will both join the network on September 17. Flights to the Swiss financial hub will run twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday. Meanwhile, the route to N’Djamena, the capital of Chad, will operate overnight on Wednesdays and Saturdays, strengthening Royal Air Maroc’s reach across the African continent.

The following day, September 18, will mark the launch of flights to Sal, one of Cape Verde’s most popular tourist destinations. This new service will also run twice weekly, offering greater access to the archipelago off Africa’s west coast. Rounding out the expansion, Munich will come online on October 20, with departures scheduled every Monday and Friday.

This strategic expansion is part of CEO Hamid Addou’s broader vision to solidify Casablanca’s status as a key regional hub. The goal is to serve a diverse clientele, including business travelers, vacationers, and members of the Moroccan diaspora living in major European cities.

Royal Air Maroc’s leadership also emphasized its ongoing investment in enhancing the passenger experience, both onboard and at the airport. Connectivity, comfort, and reliability are central to the airline’s growth plan, with a focus on building customer loyalty through consistent service quality.

By targeting high-potential routes that appeal to both economic and leisure travelers, the airline aims to deepen ties between West and Central Africa, Europe, and beyond. These new connections will not only support tourism and trade, but also help strengthen links with Moroccan communities abroad, particularly in Germany and Switzerland.
