The 35th edition of Chefchaouen Andalusian Music Festival, organized by the ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, will be held on June 26-28, both in-person and virtually.
The organization of this event is part of the cultural and artistic program of the Department of Culture aimed at preserving the cultural and artistic legacy of Morocco.
Several musical shows will take place at Al-Qasbah theater on this occasion, while other events will be broadcasted virtually thrugh social media.
A tribute will be paid to Tetouan-born artist Abdellah El Filali Younssi, who contributed as a teacher at the Conservatory of Music and Choreography of Tetouan, to train several generations of musicians, as well as to the artist Majda Ghalouli, professor of Andalusian music at the Conservatory of Music in Chefchaouen and member of the “women’s group Hadra of Chefchaouen.”
