OCP Maintenance Solutions, a subsidiary of the OCP Group, has officially launched a dedicated turbomachinery expertise center at the Jorf Lasfar site. This strategic initiative aims to bolster technical mastery and cultivate in-house expertise in maintaining critical industrial equipment.
The project was developed in partnership with the group’s Strategic Business Unit Manufacturing, which oversees industrial production. Together, they designed a model intended to enhance operational independence and reliability while reducing maintenance costs and timelines. The new center is poised to become a leading hub, adopting a systematic “machine care” approach that emphasizes precision, quality service, and the integration of cutting-edge digital tools.
A cornerstone of the center’s operations is its commitment to stringent safety standards, including strict adherence to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) requirements. The facility will employ advanced technologies such as thermography, ultrasound testing, and vibration analysis to conduct routine inspections and audits. These measures are designed to boost equipment reliability and establish consistent best practices across all OCP sites.
This new center marks the first phase of a broader plan to apply this maintenance model to other strategic assets by 2028. Ultimately, the goal is to transform maintenance into a key driver of sustainable, autonomous industrial performance, creating a unified ecosystem centered on excellence and reliability.
