The Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Liberia signed, Thursday in Rabat, a cooperation roadmap for the period 2021-2023 and a cooperation agreement on exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons.
These agreements were signed by minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and his Liberian counterpart, Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah.
The roadmap defines the framework of multisectoral cooperation between the two friendly countries and marks their ambition to strengthen their bilateral relations, based on mutual respect and by developing a solid partnership and an active solidarity.
As for the agreement, it aims to establish the general framework of cooperation between Morocco and Liberia in the field of hydrocarbons.
It also governs joint exploration and exploitation activities in the territory of both countries as well as the exchange of experiences and capacity building in this area.
