Music meets cuisine at Casablanca’s Coca-Cola Food Festival

Casablanca is buzzing this weekend with the Coca-Cola Food Festival taking over the Morocco Mall, offering a flavorful blend of food, music, and celebration. The highlight comes Saturday evening at 6 p.m., when the stage lights up for a concert featuring Moroccan-born artist Benny Adam and rising rap star Stormy. The weekend wraps up on Sunday with an open-air DJ set, closing the festival on a high-energy note.

Benny Adam, currently based in Montreal, brings a genre-bending sound that mixes drill, raï, and chaâbi in a bold, contemporary fusion. His breakout hit “Mok ya mok” became a viral sensation, topping Shazam charts in Morocco and cementing his place as one of the most talked-about new voices in the scene.

Joining him is Stormy, a key figure in Moroccan rap since 2016. Known for his sharp lyrics and powerful live performances, the Casablanca native has built a loyal fanbase. His critically acclaimed album “ICEBERG” has earned him hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify and millions of views on YouTube, making him a staple in the country’s hip-hop landscape.

On the culinary front, festivalgoers are treated to a live cooking show from Chef Simo, winner of MasterChef Maroc 2018. He’s giving the traditional Rfissa a summer makeover—lighter, fresher, and perfectly paired with the crisp coolness of Coca-Cola.

With music, food, and sunshine all in one place, the Coca-Cola Food Festival is giving Casablanca a taste of summer celebration at its best.
