Schneider Electric has appointed Nader Al Zouabi to lead its operations in Morocco and Mauritania, entrusting him with the rollout of the group’s cutting-edge solutions in sustainability, advanced automation, and next-generation energy systems. His mission will be to accelerate the adoption of Schneider’s technologies in support of the region’s digital and green transitions.
With over two decades of experience at Schneider Electric, Al Zouabi brings a deep understanding of the company’s global strategy and a proven track record in driving major transformation initiatives. He has held several high-level roles, particularly in the Gulf region and in Pakistan, where he spearheaded digitalization and decarbonization efforts across the energy sector. Most recently, he led the global “Power & Grid” segment, focusing on the digital evolution of the electricity industry. He also oversaw Schneider’s services in French-speaking Africa and island nations, further deepening his regional expertise.
A trained engineer, Al Zouabi holds a degree from the United Arab Emirates and has completed executive education programs at Grenoble Ecole de Management, the University of North Carolina, and Harvard Business School, where he is recognized as a Fellow in digital strategy.
