United Airlines expands Marrakech route with more flights this winter

United Airlines is doubling down on Marrakech. Starting October 26, the American carrier will boost its direct flight service between New York/Newark and the Moroccan city for the winter 2025–2026 season. The route, which currently runs three times a week, will increase to four weekly flights and then shift to daily service from December 19 through January 6 to meet peak holiday demand.

Launched just a year ago, the route has quickly gained traction among travelers. With Newark as a key hub, Moroccan passengers will have access to nearly 80 connections across the United States, making the transatlantic link even more attractive. Flights will be operated using Boeing 767-300 aircraft, outfitted with a mix of premium and economy seating: 46 United Polaris Business suites, 22 seats in United Premium Plus, and an economy cabin offering 99 seats—43 of which are Economy Plus, designed for added legroom and comfort.

The move is part of a broader global expansion strategy. Over the summer, United rolled out six brand-new destinations and launched nine additional transatlantic routes, marking the largest international growth in the airline’s history.
