Inwi has officially entered the 5G era in Morocco, launching its next-generation mobile network across major cities in the country. With more than 18 million users already on its mobile internet services, the telecom provider is now taking a major leap forward in digital connectivity—promising a faster, more seamless experience for individuals and businesses alike.
The company’s 5G network boasts speeds of over 2 Gbps, ultra-low latency, and vastly improved capacity for multiple simultaneous connections. Whether for high-quality video calls, lightning-fast file transfers, smooth online gaming, or smart home tech, inwi’s 5G is designed to dramatically reshape how users interact with the digital world. From households to corporate settings, the impact is expected to be both wide-reaching and transformative.
What sets inwi’s 5G rollout apart is its simplicity. All existing mobile customers who have compatible devices and are located within the coverage area are instantly connected—no SIM card change, no additional fees, and no activation process required. To support the launch, inwi has introduced new prepaid and postpaid plans tailored to varying data needs, offering flexible solutions for all kinds of users.
Inwi is also introducing a fixed wireless offering called “5G i-Box,” aimed at households looking for fast, stable, and secure Wi-Fi. Designed to be plug-and-play, the i-Box supports everything from remote work and online gaming to HD streaming and smart home systems, making it an ideal solution for the modern connected lifestyle.
Businesses, too, are a major focus. Through its Inwi Business division, the company is rolling out 5G-powered solutions tailored to sectors that require cutting-edge connectivity. Applications include automated manufacturing, remote maintenance, smart logistics, and telemedicine. Inwi emphasizes that its professional packages are 5G-ready out of the box—no setup hassles or added costs—and offers a dedicated “5G Business Connect” box with fixed-line integration and customizable features to meet specific corporate needs.
All of this is underpinned by inwi’s robust technical infrastructure. The company operates a nationwide fiber optic network, nine data centers, and sovereign cloud platforms. With this new phase, inwi is doubling down on its commitment to Morocco’s digital transformation, aiming to make advanced connectivity both accessible and inclusive. Its new slogan, “Sir B3id” (“Go Far”), captures this bold vision for the future.
