Eurowings has launched a new direct route connecting Prague to Marrakech, marking the latest step in the German low-cost airline’s growing investment in the Moroccan market. The route, which operates twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays using an Airbus A320, links Prague’s Václav Havel Airport with Marrakech Menara.
This new addition reflects Eurowings’ broader strategy to expand its presence in Morocco, a country the airline describes as having “significant potential and consistently strong demand.” Marrakech, already a favorite among European travelers, plays a key role in that expansion.
In an official statement, the airline said it expects strong interest in the new connection, with positive trends already visible in ticket sales and bookings, which are projected to grow steadily into early 2026.
As part of its 2025/2026 winter schedule, Eurowings is tripling the number of direct flights it operates to Morocco. The airline will now link Marrakech not only to Prague, but also to Hanover, Salzburg, Stuttgart, and Düsseldorf. Beyond Marrakech, the company continues to strengthen its network across the country, offering flights from Cologne-Bonn to Fes, as well as routes connecting both Düsseldorf and Stuttgart to Agadir.
With this latest move, Eurowings reinforces its position in North Africa, tapping into rising demand for travel to Morocco and offering greater accessibility for European tourists looking for a winter escape.
