German industrial measurement specialist Wika is strengthening its foothold in North Africa with the launch of a new subsidiary in Casablanca. This strategic move represents a key milestone in the company’s regional expansion strategy, aimed at building closer ties with clients and partners across the Maghreb.
By establishing a local office, Wika is positioning itself to respond more efficiently and precisely to the needs of local industries. The new Moroccan branch will offer easier access to the company’s full product and service portfolio—ranging from high-precision sensors and customized calibration services to integrated solutions for connected industry (IIoT).
Marcel Frei, Senior Vice President for Southern Europe, called the opening a significant step forward in Wika’s development plan. He emphasized that having a physical presence on the ground will enable the company to better meet customer expectations and deepen regional partnerships.
Founded in 1946, Wika is a family-owned German company with a global workforce of over 11,200 employees. It is widely respected for its expertise in pressure, temperature, level, force, and flow measurement. The company places a strong emphasis on technological innovation to help industrial clients modernize their operations.
With this new presence in Casablanca, Wika aims to cement its role as a key player in industrial monitoring and measurement across North Africa.
