TUI fly Belgium will launch a new summer flight between Casablanca and Barcelona from 2 July to 31 August.
The service will run twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. Flights will leave Casablanca late at night and arrive in Barcelona in the early hours. The return flight will depart Barcelona shortly after and land back in Morocco before dawn.
The route will operate from Mohammed V International Airport to Barcelona–El Prat Airport. The airline plans to use Airbus A320 aircraft. Fares will start at about MAD 660, depending on demand. Some reports say the service could continue into early September if bookings are strong.
The company says the route marks its return to the Spanish market from Morocco and is aimed at summer travellers, including people visiting family and friends. It also hopes to attract passengers looking for a direct and affordable option between the two cities.
The night timetable allows the airline to use its aircraft at off-peak times, which helps keep prices lower.
The launch is part of a wider summer 2026 expansion. The airline will also start flights from Oujda to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport from 30 March 2026, operating twice a week.
The airline is also promoting package deals through TUI Musement, allowing customers to book flights together with hotels and city tours.
The move comes as competition grows in the region. Ryanair has warned it may reduce some routes in Spain if airport fees rise under plans linked to AENA.
