
Morocco has set up a crisis unit to assist its nationals living in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates said it is closely monitoring the situation of Moroccans in the region. It urged citizens to exercise caution and follow instructions issued by authorities in their host countries.
The ministry said the move aims to respond quickly to concerns from the Moroccan community amid fast-moving developments in the region.
It added that dedicated phone numbers have been made available for Moroccans seeking information or assistance.
