Picking a university is a big decision, especially when it comes to future jobs. Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane has just received a strong endorsement after being ranked “Top Tier 1” in both Business Administration and Engineering in Morocco’s latest Campus Education rankings.
It is the only public university in the country to reach the highest level in both subjects at the same time.
The university says the result reflects solid teaching, updated ways of learning, and strong confidence from employers. Recruiters often say graduates stand out for being well prepared and able to work in different countries and cultures.
The recognition covers the School of Business Administration and the School of Science and Engineering.
The business school was the first in Africa to get EPAS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development, a sign it meets international teaching standards. Students can choose subjects such as finance, marketing, logistics, and AI for business. They must complete internships and also train using real business simulations. Courses are taught in English, which the university says improves job chances with global companies.
The engineering school teaches a mix of technical skills and wider skills like communication and ethics. Courses include computer science, renewable energy, engineering management, and artificial intelligence. Students also take part in research projects and end their studies with a major final project linked to real industry problems.
The ranking was based on feedback from more than 100 HR directors and recruiters. They pointed to strong language skills, job readiness, and leadership qualities as key strengths.
