Retail Holding is going through a shake-up as it tries to become more than just a supermarket group.
Earlier in May 2026, it announced a headline deal with its main arm Label’Vie. The plan is for Retail Holding to absorb Label’Vie in a share swap that values the business at 12.46 billion dirhams. By August, Label’Vie will disappear as a separate company and the new combined group will be listed directly on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
The goal is to grow fast and cut costs at the same time. The group wants to more than double its revenue from 21.7 billion dirhams in 2025 to 47 billion by 2030. It is also planning to invest 10 billion dirhams to open more stores and expand its footprint. Savings are expected by buying goods in bulk, improving logistics and sharing support teams across the business.
On the ground, expansion is already moving quickly. In just the first three months of 2026, Label’Vie opened 31 new stores. That brings its total network to 442 shops across the country, with more focus on smaller and regional cities.
Outside Morocco, Retail Holding is also building a presence through CDCI in Ivory Coast. The business serves wholesalers, small shop owners and everyday customers, giving the group a foothold in a fast-growing market.
A big part of the new strategy is services. In January 2026, Retail Holding teamed up with investment fund Amethis to buy OCS, a company that handles catering and facility management in Morocco and Senegal.
This is a sizeable business. It makes more than one billion dirhams a year and employs around 6,000 people across more than 220 sites. Its teams serve food under brands like Ansamble and Proxirest. It also manages company facilities through Artis and Alizés, and even runs childcare services for employees.
In 2025 alone, OCS served nearly 208,000 meals. Demand is growing as more companies in sectors like industry, automotive and education choose to outsource these services.
Alongside this, Retail Holding continues to run a mix of other businesses. Modes et Nuances operates Kiabi clothing stores. Mega V Stores Morocco runs multi-brand fashion outlets. GFFS manages Burger King restaurants, which reached 41 locations in 14 cities by the end of 2025. Atelier Croc Maroc produces pastries and baked goods on an industrial scale.
