Stroc Industrie’s revenue fell sharply in the first quarter of 2026 as the company moved from completed projects to newly awarded contracts.
The Moroccan engineering group reported revenue of 17.7 million dirhams in the three months to March, down from 69.9 million dirhams a year earlier. Revenue was almost unchanged from the 17.6 million dirhams recorded in the previous quarter.
The company said the decline was linked to the way large industrial projects are carried out. Several major contracts were completed in 2025, while new projects are still being prepared before work starts on site.
These projects are currently going through early stages such as planning, purchasing equipment and materials, and getting teams ready to begin construction.
Stroc Industrie said the lower revenue reflects a transition between old and new projects rather than a slowdown in demand. It expects activity to pick up as work on the new contracts moves forward.
The company’s debt remained broadly stable at 220.5 million dirhams at the end of March, compared with 219.6 million dirhams three months earlier. It also said it did not make any major investments during the quarter.
