SNRT has secured the rights from beIN Sports to broadcast Morocco's 2026 World Cup matches on free national television.

Moroccan football fans will be able to watch the national team’s matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on free national television after SNRT secured the broadcasting rights.

The public broadcaster announced it had reached an agreement with beIN SPORTS, which holds the tournament’s rights across the Middle East and North Africa.

The deal means Atlas Lions matches will be shown on Moroccan channels, allowing fans to follow the team without needing a paid subscription.

In a statement, SNRT said the agreement reflects its commitment to bringing major international sporting events closer to Moroccan viewers, especially given the strong interest in the national team’s World Cup campaign.

The broadcaster also said it will send journalists, technicians and radio presenters to the United States, Canada and Mexico to cover the tournament from the ground. The teams will produce reports, interviews and analysis programmes throughout Morocco’s participation.

The 2026 World Cup will be the longest in the competition’s history. For the first time, 48 teams will take part, up from 32, with a total of 104 matches played across 16 host cities in the three North American countries.

beIN SPORTS holds exclusive rights to broadcast the tournament across 24 countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Through the new agreement, SNRT has obtained free-to-air terrestrial rights in Morocco for matches involving the national team.

During Morocco’s historic run to the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar in 2022, national broadcasts drew record audiences.
