Renault has started selling its new Master van in Morocco, targeting businesses that need more space and carrying capacity for daily work. The new model is now available through Renault’s network across the country, with prices starting from 360,000 dirhams. Orders opened in February.
The price may seem higher than the 279,000 dirhams figure announced earlier this year. Renault says that earlier price was before tax and depended on the version chosen. The current price reflects the specifications and trim levels being offered in dealerships.
The launch is an important one for Renault. The Master has been sold in Morocco since 2003, and the company says more than 25,000 units have been delivered to craftsmen, transport companies and small businesses over the past two decades.
The new generation comes with a redesigned body aimed at improving fuel efficiency. Renault says its new “Aerovan” design reduces air resistance by 20% compared with the previous model.
According to the company, that helps cut fuel consumption by about 1.5 litres per 100 kilometres and lowers CO2 emissions by 39g/km.
Four versions of the van are available in Morocco. Prices start at 279,000 dirhams before tax for the L2H2 version with a 130hp diesel engine and 11 cubic metres of cargo space. The range goes up to the L4H3 version, priced from 325,000 dirhams before tax, which comes with a 150hp diesel engine, rear-wheel drive and up to 17 cubic metres of load space.
Depending on the version, the Master can carry up to 1,983kg and tow up to 2,500kg.
Inside, drivers get a 10-inch touchscreen with smartphone connectivity and nine storage compartments offering a combined capacity of 135 litres.
Renault has also added several features as standard, including automatic headlights, full LED lights, cruise control and a digital instrument display.
Safety equipment includes electronic stability control, anti-lock braking, hill-start assist and 14 driver assistance systems.
The first deliveries of the new Master began in Morocco in March. The model was also named Van of the Year 2025 in Europe.
