Moroccan building company INAPCO has bought a new factory in Ouled Saleh to double its production capacity as demand grows for aluminium façades and building systems across the country. The company, part of Perla Group, said the new site will help it take on bigger residential, commercial, hotel and infrastructure projects that require high precision and modern building materials.

Founded in 2018 by Zineb Bennis, INAPCO makes aluminium windows and doors, architectural façades and Pivotal pivot doors.

The company said the new factory is part of a plan to strengthen every stage of its work, from design and manufacturing to installation on site. It said the investment will allow it to deliver larger projects while maintaining quality.

“This acquisition is one of the most structural milestones since the company was founded,” said founder and general manager Zineb Bennis.

“It allows us to support our growth while meeting increasingly sophisticated customer needs.”

The expansion comes as Morocco’s construction market continues to grow.

Industry forecasts estimate the country’s metal profiles market will reach 75.6 million square metres in 2026 and grow to 104.26 million square metres by 2031, with an annual growth rate of 6.64%.

Demand for aluminium profiles is expected to grow even faster at 8.14% a year until 2031, driven by new offices, hotels and infrastructure projects. Façades account for more than 41% of the market.

Construction contributes about 6% of Morocco’s GDP and supports more than 200,000 direct and indirect jobs.

Morocco still imports much of its raw aluminium because local production cannot meet demand. Aluminium alloys make up about 12% of all construction material imports, worth more than $440 million each year.

The company said controlling its operations from design to installation helps reduce supply chain risks.

Demand for aluminium is also rising because it lasts longer than galvanised steel in coastal areas, where humidity can cause corrosion. New energy efficiency rules are also increasing demand for advanced façades and high-performance building systems.

Backed by Perla Group, INAPCO says the new factory will help it grow as Morocco’s construction sector expands. Perla Group was founded in 1956 by the Benkirane family and operates in real estate, construction, industry, investment and asset management.
