PwC Morocco has promoted Ahmed El Filali to partner, increasing the firm’s partnership in the country to 17 members. El Filali has been appointed Partner for Deals Valuation and Business Modelling. The firm said the move is part of its plan to grow its Deals business in Morocco and across the Maghreb.

He studied at CentraleSupélec and Sciences Po before starting his career in mergers and acquisitions at Lazard. He joined PwC in Paris in 2011, where he advised clients on company valuations and other Deals projects.

Since 2018, El Filali has helped build PwC’s valuation business in Morocco and supported the expansion of its Deals platform across the Maghreb.

Over the years, he has worked with large companies and investment funds on business plans, financial models and value creation. He also specialises in valuing management incentive packages for private equity funds.

In his new role, El Filali will focus on growing PwC’s Deals business in the Maghreb and expanding services for investment funds.

PwC has more than 400 employees in Morocco working across consulting, audit, legal and tax services. The firm said the appointment reflects its commitment to developing talent and helping businesses adapt to change.
