Tanger Med will bring together more than 400 supply-chain experts and business leaders on 25 September for the eighth Tangier Logistics Days. The event will take place at the Tanger Med Port Center. This year’s focus is on artificial intelligence, data and the people needed to run the supply chains of the future.
The theme is “Augmented Supply Chain: Human Capital and Data, Rare and Strategic Resources.”
The event will look at how AI can change logistics, what skills managers will need and how companies can protect their data while keeping supply chains reliable.
Speakers will discuss AI, data sovereignty, new skills and leadership. A practical “Vibe Coding” workshop will also allow participants to work on AI solutions for real supply-chain problems.
Tanger Med has continued to expand its role as a major trade and logistics hub linking Europe, Africa and the Americas.
The port handled 161 million tonnes of cargo in 2025, up 13.3% from the previous year. Container traffic reached more than 11.1 million TEUs, up 8.4%.
More than 535,000 trucks crossed the port as part of international road transport, an increase of 3.6%. Exports of manufactured industrial goods rose by 4.8%, while agri-food exports increased by 4.3%.
The port also plays a major role in the car industry. Its vehicle terminals handled 526,862 vehicles in 2025, including cars made by Renault and Stellantis at plants in Morocco.
The event will also include time for business leaders, logistics companies, researchers and officials to meet and exchange ideas.

They consolidate Tanger Med’s leadership in the Mediterranean and African basins serving both national and international supply chains.”
