Companies should give employees more flexibility at work on 23 September, when Morocco holds its parliamentary elections. The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) has asked businesses to adjust working hours so employees who want to vote can get to polling stations.
CGEM President Mehdi Tazi called on companies to make sure work does not stop their employees from voting.
Polling stations will be open across the country from 08:00 to 19:00.
The CGEM said the private sector has a role to play in helping employees take part in the election.
