Moroccan aesthetic medicine has received international recognition after Dr Loubna Kfafi won the Best Aesthetic Clinic in the Arab World award at the ninth Afdal Awards in Beirut. Based in Meknes, Dr Kfafi has built her career between Morocco, France and Turkey, specialising in areas including medical lasers, nutrition, longevity and preventive medicine.
Her approach combines aesthetic treatments with wider health factors. Before carrying out technical procedures, she considers patients’ nutrition, sleep quality and factors linked to ageing.
The approach helped her clinic stand out among competitors from across the region, according to the award announcement.
The award also highlights Morocco’s growing role in medical tourism, particularly in aesthetic medicine.
Dr Kfafi is also involved in professional training, delivering courses and speaking at specialist medical conferences for fellow practitioners.
