Wizz Air has brought back its direct flights between Marrakech and Bucharest. The airline restarted the route on Sunday, September 20, with two flights a week. It will increase this to three flights a week from October 26.
The first flight left Bucharest Henri Coandă Airport at 13:10 on Sunday and arrived at Marrakech-Menara Airport at 16:05. The return flight left Marrakech at 16:45 and was due to land in Bucharest at 23:30.
Wizz Air Malta operates the route with an Airbus A321neo, which has 239 seats.
Flights will run on Thursdays and Sundays until October 22. The schedule will then change to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from October 26.
Wizz Air first launched the Bucharest-Marrakech route in October 2024. The airline also operated the route in spring 2026 before suspending it for the summer.
The airline is also adding another Marrakech route. Flights to Cluj-Napoca in Romania are due to start on October 25, with two flights a week.
Wizz Air is also adding new flights to Agadir from cities in Central Europe and Italy.
The airline already flies from Marrakech to several European cities, including Rome, Milan, Budapest, London and Sofia.
