Moroccan National airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced, Friday, the resumption of its scheduled international flights from Monday, February 7, 2022, following government’s statement authorizing the reopening of airspace to flights to and from Morocco.
The national airline, which previously operated special flights to a very limited number of international destinations, will now restore all regular routes in its network, RAM said in a statement.
The flight program will include direct flights linking Morocco to about fifty airports in Europe, Africa, America, the Middle East and Asia, the statement read.
In order to accompany its customers in the context of the resumption of international traffic, Royal Air Maroc will strengthen its flight program with a gradual increase in the number of frequencies and destinations, the statement noted, adding that the company will operate these flights in strict compliance with the conditions required for travelers, which will be announced later by the authorities, to ensure the health and safety of its customers and staff.
All components of the Company are fully mobilized to achieve a resumption of flights in the best conditions of efficiency, quality and safety, RAM underlined.
Flights are available for sale on the company’s website “www.royalairmaroc.com”, via its call centers and sales agencies as well as through the network of travel agencies, according to the same source.
In addition, Royal Air Maroc will continue to schedule, over the period from January 28 to February 6, special flights from Morocco to the following destinations: Paris, Brussels, Milan, Barcelona and Madrid, the statement concluded.
